The Bio-Pro Exhaust Vent Filtration is an airtight, external upgrade designed to provide high-efficiency gas filtration for Safe-Decon containers. This housing is precision-engineered to accommodate 0.22 Micron PTFE membrane filters, providing a validated barrier against biological particulates.

Why Add Exhaust Filtration?

In high-consequence environments, managing air displacement is critical. This housing ensures that any air exiting the container—whether due to temperature changes, pressure equalization, or handling—is scrubbed through a hydrophobic membrane, protecting your team and your facility.

Engineered for Performance

• Total Seal Integrity: The housing is mounted to the container wall with a permanent, airtight seal. This ensures “zero-leak” performance, forcing 100% of the exhaust air through the filter media.

• Optimized for 50mm, 0.22 micron PFTE membrane filters: Specifically designed to house 50mm, 0.22 micron PTFE membranes. These filters are naturally hydrophobic, meaning they allow air to pass freely while repelling water and moisture.

• Quarter-Turn Vented Cap: No tools required. The heavy-duty vented cap locks the filter in place with a simple quarter-turn, creating a uniform compression seal across the membrane surface.

• Durable Construction: Built from materials designed to withstand rigorous decontamination protocols and chemical exposure.

How to Use

1. Insert: Place a 50mm PTFE membrane filter into the housing chamber.

2. Lock: Twist the vented cap a quarter-turn until secure.

3. Operate: The container now features a secondary biological barrier for all exhaust air.
